I spent my early years of design experience laying out spreads for community magazines around Dallas. The Tartan's 66th Annual Issue was the first publication where I had the opportunity to exercise full creative control as Editor-in-Chief and work with a budget. To put more money towards printing additional full-color spreads, we made the decision to forego mailing the zines and instead hand-delivered each issue from the back of my Jeep Wrangler.
